What this great statement is saying is simple your mind thinks for you and depending on what situation your on that the color it will paint in that situation. For example say that it’s in a bad situation it paints it read and you start thinking trouble and that what it cause that why you have to learn how to make smart choices. This is what I think this great example means/saying.
