 What This Statement by Mark Twain is trying to say is that always do things that are good. Such as say at home you see the trash bag full gust get it set and go through it outside  Another example say you're in school and you're walking down the hall and some girls books fall don't just pass her and stair stop and help her pick them up. This stamen is just simply trying to say do things that will make you feel good not bad.
